Turbo? "whooshes"......Help?!?

has anybody ever heard a "whooosh" sound when your truck comes out of passsing gear into overdrive? It sounds like the turbo isletting out a bunch of air or something? haven't heard it before and dont know if i like the sound of it. It usually happens when im at about 2500 to 3000 rpms and shift into overdrive and the rpms drop to 2000 or so(cruising speed).

Mine does it. I was told it is the air that was headed for the turbo but now has to back back out due to the reduced RPMs. Kool ain't it?

thought i would have noticed it before though. I did just this past week put on my intake and havent really gotten on it or had to pass anyone until this weekend. Would the intake have made it start doing that?
