Have you tried reading any codes? Check the oil level also.

Have you tried putting your spare CPS (cam position sensor) in yet?

Do you know someone who has AE or a mt2500 diag setup? Watching the data stream will tell you what it wrong. If you don't drive the truck, and just let it idle, does it start screwing up? If not, sounds like a possible electrical connector.

Send a message via Yahoo to drstephennix
Mine did this too. The IPR sensor kept going out on it due to bad wiring harness.

This will involve some work, no easy "just replace this". I'm thinking valve cover harness, ipr sensor, or harness to start with... check those. Check for loose wiring, oil in wiring, ect.

I still want to see the data stream. I don't feel it's the cps. Could be, but I'm just not feeling it.
