Starting funny

I changed my oil and fuel filter Saturday. Now when I start it cold its like the starter is keeping the engine running. It starts but it doesnt come to life like it used to. Instead of ROOMP its roooomp. Any ideas. When the engine is warm its not to bad but still not like it used to be. I still have all the power, no misses.

I hear sometimes it can take 10 or 20 miles of hard driving to get all the air out but mine usually gets happy in just a minute or two after changing the fuel filter. Did you put the same kind of oil back in it? what kinda oil? how cold is cold?
