Where's My OIL Going

I have an early 99 thats using 2qts. of oil in 500 to 700 miles. There are no spots on the driveway nor do I notice any excessive smoke comeing from the tailpipe. I guess my question is can there be enough blowby to create my loss without causing alot of smoke? Also I am getting really bad mileage, right around 10mpg. But my truck is running fine. I am confused!!!

I would start by replacing the injector o rings if the engine compression is good....since its an early 99 with the old style o rings and your getting that poor of fuel economy its a good place to start!!!

Yep, if it aint going on the ground or into the coolant, which would eventually go on the ground, then it must be burning it and injector O-rings would be the most likely culprit. It aint as hard of a job as it sounds.
