Engine Pull

And the truck went BOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!! chug-a-chug-a chug...

Was able to make it a few miles down the road and pulled over in a safe location (was on the interstate in a construction zone with jersey walls on both sides.

No warning, no nothing... just going uphill slightly and I heard it.

Well no visible holes in the block or pan at this point but the oil was full of coolant so I know one problem. The oil looks to have started leaking out from above the oil cooler but below the valve covers.

I'll be tearing it down tomorrow to look at it.

No metal peices in the pan that I found yet when I drained the oil... but we'll see!!!!!!!!!!

Dayum, Marty. I can't believe your run of bad luck here, man! Hopefully its a simple fix and isn't too expensive. Sucks to be driving a gasser, huh?

But I'm going to probably go ahead and take her down for the count and go forged.

I'll have just about everything off tomorrow morning and will report back.

I'm ready to see what you find is wrong guess you might as well address the weak links now and get it over with. Wish I could be there to help with the tear down.
