Welcome, Joe. The Ford factory manual is available from Helm.com. Be sure to get your check book out to the tune of from $160.00 to $200.00 including the diesel engine supplement. My suggestion is to buy the Chilton's SD Pick-ups 1999-2002 (Chilton.com). The truck is pretty much the same from 1999 though 2004. This book is about $33.00 including shipping. It will not have all of the detail of the factory book, but then it isn't $200.00. I guess it depends on how deep in you want to go.

Factory Manual

Hey Joe. If you let me know what you're looking for in particular, I can either post an attachment or email you what you need. Ford has all of their manuals online for your truck, it's just a matter of figuring out what in particular you're in need of.

Online manuals

You mentioned that ford manuals could be ford online. Is possible to see pages from a manual oneline. For instance I needed a fuse block diagram.

Hey Joe welcome to the forum! Have you been to your local auto store and gotten a haynes manual?

I bought my complete '01 F250 owners manaul from Helm by phone for about $54 and the service manual would have been $145. Here is the link to the Frod section of Helm http://www.helminc.com/helm/welcome_...K6PX1F5R499U84 Phone: (313) 733-3501

Try www.books4cars.com I bought from them and been happy with what I've got. The real factory books just like the dealerships have.
