What years fit 7.3

I have a 1999 Ford 7.3 diesel. I may have to replace the motor . Can anyone tell me what year motors will work ?

99.5 - 2003 will fit your truck.. if its pre 99.5 then i dont know. i changed my 99.5 engine out with a 2001 and it fits and works perfectly and everything hooks up just fine. also theres a place u can get a complete engine for 4200.00 without the turbo. just lemme know.

What places can I buy a complete engine for 4200.00 . I can buy a long block stripped for 3800.00 or a complete for 8500.00 but I have just started looking

if you can get an engine with a comparable price that already has forged rods then you should go that way. i dont have the place with me now ill post up monday the place you can get it..... i called them myself and thats the price they gave me.... without the turbo. i cant for the life of me remember the but name.. but ill post up monday with it.. they sell USED engines with less than 30k on it. there is a small risk in buying used but its very cheap. i dont know about a warranty on it either because i didn't ask. im not going to vouch for that place either because i only called to see what i could replace mine for and have not ever dealt with them.

hey bud sorry i left yu high an dry monday... i couldnt find this post for the life of me! but anyway. goto. gotengines.com theyll give you a number to call and they are based in florida. thats where i got that price from 4200.00 and that was shipped.
