Looking for some help w my 2001 250. With the key out I can still play the radio and all lights work, ie. blinkers etc. I have replaced the ignition switch. The ignition cylinder seems to be working correctly. It will just drain the batteries unless i disconnect them. Any input would be appreciated.
My late 99 does this but only when it rains a lot. Its got a small leak somewhere and gets wet and everything stays on. Usually just the heater controls and radio but have had all stay on as well.
I found out that it is the windshield causing the problem. It looks like it is leaking down the post right onto the board and shorting out. I'm resealing the windshield and should be good.
You will likely need to replace the GEM module/fuse box assembly. It will be all green inside.
