Ok boys i need some help again!
Put two ac delco 850cca batteries about a year ago. The other day the truck started cranking slow. Checked batteries while they were hooked together only had 22?cca. Started it checked the alternator with my fluke. Was showing 13.4 then with MINMAX saw it dropped to 12.8 at some point. So i threw a new advance auto 'tough one' alternator. Truck instantly started up. Ran great for a few days. Now same problem is back. Alternator is charging at 13.8-14.4. Batteries (hooked together) shown 1200 cca now that the new alt is in. But it is just cranking terribly slow.
So im thinking the starter is going out?
Weather isnt abnormally cold as im in florida.
Also checked all pulleys nothings held up.
Thanks!!!
