Help

I have an 01 dually that has lost all of it's power. I keep getting the same two codes and was curious if anybody could help me out with them. Here are the codes.

p0475-Exhaust pressure control valve error

p1248-Turbo boost pressure not detected.

Thanks for the help in advance.

How would I go about checking to see if that is the problem or not?

Are you smoking alot out of the tailpipe? Check for any boost leaks on the rubber boots to the intercooler pipe tighten all the clamps. Check to make sure you don't have a leak in your map line to the sensor and make sure your electrical connection is good. Another thing does your exhaust sound like it is hissing out the tailpipe? Your exhaust back pressure valve might be sticking closed.

Hissing out the tail pipe, and you can't hear the tubo spooling up. Mine did this once when cold.

It runs fine when I'm parked and the turbo spools up. It's just when I'm driving there is no power and the turbo will spool up, but it takes forever. I haven't seen any smoke or hissing. The intercooler boots are tight. I'll check the connection and map line.
