Running rough and loss of power

I was driving today and my check engine light came on and the truck felt like I lost a cylinder. Running rough, vibrating really bad, and a definite loss of power. I had to drive it home on the high way, and the engine light went off for about 30 seconds and the truck ran normally again, full power, then went back to running rough. I tried reading the code at Advance Auto but couldn't get anything with there scanner. I thought that was odd.

I know the GPR is bad cause it's a pain to start every morning. It smokes a little until its warmed up so I know it could use injectors or at least cups. 188k miles and stock injectors. My first instinct is injectors but I wanted to ask here before I get it to a shop for an actual diagnosis. Any help would be great.

the smoke at start-up is your glow plugs or glow plug relay needs replacing/s.

Check the UVCH for it being loose, burnt pins...etc. Here, you can troubleshoot the connections to the injectors/g.p.'s as well...
