7.3 Water in fuel light

I have a 99 F-250SD 7.3, my water in fuel light is on. I have put HEET in it but did not make a difference, any ideas?

There is a yellow lever on the back side of the fuel filter housing this is the fuel drain valve. You need to rotate it clockwise to drain. Locate the fuel drain tube that leads from the rear of the fuel bowl on the top of the engine it is a metal fuel line looking that ends on the front of the engine. It is 3/8" slip a piece of hose over the line and drain into a container. If you light doesn't go out then you need to inspect the fuel bowl and possibly change the sensor.
