Engine dies

I have a '99 f350 ps. It runs ok until it warms up then it just dies. No sputtering or anything else. I have to wait about 5 minutes before it will restart. It just sits there & cranks before that time. Once restart, it runs for a few then dies again & the whole cycle starts again. Sometimes it will turn the "check engine" light on & sometimes it doesn't. I've put my obdII reader on it & it hasn't thrown a code. I've tried draining the fuel filter bowl to relieve pressure thinking that maybe fuel line is clogged. Didn't seem to help. I've change out the fuel filter & that didn't seem to help. I had previously changed filter 3,000 miles earlier. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
