SO about half hr ago i full a pickup through the snow with 4 flat tires that had been sittin in the trees for bout 2 years and when i got it pulled up to the shop and unhoocked it from my truck, I got in my truck to go drive it around the dard and cool it down and i saw the (ABS) light was on and it wont go off. Is this somethin i should be concerned about.
go drive it a couple of drive cycles it will probably go off after it sees there isnt a problem anymore. When the wheels were spinning it probably set the light thinking there was a problem.
might also have gotten an abs sensor pushed out of position, and it's not reading the ring. we used to have alot of trouble with the ih trucks where i used to work whenever we got them in deep snow.
also had some corrosion problems in the connectors, but since it happened so soon, that shouldn't be it, unless you got moisture into one of them.
Just drove it today and the warning light whent OFF. Thanxs guys
