Upper and lower ball joints

I have heard the bad news that many 99-03 F-250's on up have ball joint issues and usually need to be replaced after 125000 miles. Is it a headache to replace these? Are they pressed in?

They arent real easy for a guy without the proper tools. The ball joints themselves are pressed in, as well as having to press a new backside hub seal on that takes a special adapter. If your fairly mechanically compitent, let me know and ill assist ya, first thing to do would be find out if your autozone locally loans ball joint presses, and if not, get one of the 30 dollar special, basically one time use ones off ebay....
