02 will not reeve up

this happened to a friend of mine i dont know what really happened, but i told him i would get on and see if anyone has had this problem.

it wont rev up or it only revs so high and then quits if it only revs up a little bit then i bet its one of your boost tubes mine did that and i was a boost tube leaking alot of air check the tube connections

if it wont rev at all ( just stay at idle) then its your throtle position sensor on the gas pedal.
