01 powerstroke won't crank

I just bought a 01 f250 diesel and was told it needed an idm, well for the heck of it I put two good battery's in it and went to go turn the key and it won't crank I just hear a relay click, iv checked all the fueses multiple times and they were good, iv replaced the neutral safety switch and starter solinoid and still nothing, also the power windows, dome light and power seat dosent work

( I noticed my buddy's truck dings a few times and then beeps when you turn the key on but when I turn my key it just beeps one time and that's it)

Any ideas?

That would stop the starter from working?

have you replaced the idm? There's a way to check it at the 42pin connector..(located on d/s vc).

Have you verified the batteries to be good? Anything under 11-12v, the truck wont do shiat.

Check the fuses, located in the engine bay?

For the heck of it, remove the cover to expose the wires forthe shifter column. Easy to do. Overtime, wire/s will wear and cause all sorts of wierd crap..Just replaced one in buddys' truck. He didnt want to fix the wire, but replace entire thing..

No I haven't replaced the idm, how would I check to see if its bad?

Both battery's tested out good

And would I still hear a relay click when I turn the key if the ignitions bad?
