AIR PROBLEM MAYBE

After changing my Fuel Filter Housing the only way I could get it to start was spray a dab of Starter Fluid about 10 times then it kept running. since then in about 200 miles of driving I've had do the same only 1 or 2 squirts on 3 occasions. It's running fine now but was wondering if there was a way to clean your fuel system, like maybe a flush. The housing is seeping some fuel where it was welded but ran fine when it had a hole the size of a pencil. That makes me think that the seepage isn't causing this.

Send a message via MSN to redstroker_2002
I will tell you why not to use either on any diesel or gas burner only on the bigger engines and all it takes is a whisper. Either is such a hot dry start on engines it is hard on gaskets and if you use to much you will blow the aluminum heads right off them puppies. i have used a little on my 84 chevy 6.2 litre. but i wouldnt do it on my powerstroke
