Crank, no start
Hey guys in a bit of a pickle. Drove the truck (2000 350, 7.3) up north and back, ran like a dream. Started getting worried on the way home cause it ran so well. Well, sure enough. Got to town, washed it down the road, started it up and drove it home. Next morning it sputtered a couple times and then nothing, would just crank and not fire. Figured id plug it in and give it a shot, 12 hrs later, nothing.
Checked all the norms, CPS, GPR, Fuses, Disconnected IPC, nothing. Kind of a Newb when it comes to this but ive read enough this past week that I shouldve figured it out by now. Replaced CPS Added Diesel 911 to tank and bowl checked all fuses Replaced IPC, IPR, and fuel pump. Oil level is fine GPR is fine Ohmed out the UVCH, everything was good minus 2 glow plugs Truck will fire off ether.( I KNOW) Also have an Edge Attitude/juice installed, its set to stock. Ill be removing that in the morning and giving it another go. I know the fuel pump is working. Any ideas? Weird because I shouldve noticed something before I turned the truck off. |

did you get it fixed? had the same thing on a ps. changed the ipr, icp,cps with no change. found a thread with a tech talking about voltage in the brown/white wire from the icp throttle position sensor exhaust back pressure sensor etc. pulled the plug on the exhaust sensor and now it starts. replaced the part and now it runs fine.

I didnt have a garage to work on it in, minimal tools(theyre all at work) and it was freezing balls outside so I towed it to a shop
They said I was only getting 15psi of HPO pressure, Eliminating one bank at a time to rule out injectors. So theyre replacing that today. |
