no wts light

Hello I searched the forums looking for help but Don't think anyone else has had the same issue as myself. I do have a dp tuner and its plugged in tightly to the pcm I have checked that. I was having alternator trouble the alternator repair man said it was the pcm I didn't believe him. Now I'll turn the key and no Wait to Start light comes on, but if i try again immediately it'll come right on. So I'm thinking its the pcm. Unless someone else has something else to check. I forgot but were on the pcm is the pcm code so I can call and get a new one does anyone have an idea besides ford were to buy one at?

Thanks,

Clint

The "No WTS" is, usually, a good indication that the PCM isn't running. If it comes back every time you recycle the key then, I donno,,, I would start by removing (completely) the Tuner from the PCM.

Will it start if the WTS didn't illuminate? Maybe we're over thinking this...

You can read the PCM code form under the hood (with a mirror) by looking at the fender-side of the connector on the firewall.

When you dont get a wait to start light, do u still hear your fuel pump??? If not its most likely pcm bad. I just had to replace mine. I found a company that repairs them and flashes them so they are ready to be installed when recieved. Its Rogue Motors.
