Trouble with trouble code
Had a situation today where I was driving up a hill, came to a stop at a cross street, stepped on the pedal to go and nothing happened. Let off and stepped on it again and it went like nothing was wrong. Scanned it and came up with a P0221 code (searched around and the closest I could find was a generic Ford listing saying it's a
"Throttle/Petal Position Sensor/Switch B Circuit Range/Performance Problem " but i'm not sure it still holds for the Super Duty) It's the second time it's done it and I was wondering what I can do if anything to fix it, or if I shouldn't worry about it? ![]() Truck is a 99.5 F-250 7.3 |

Sometimes you can spray some lube on the switch and it will fix it right up. Otherwise the entire pedal assembly is around $100, could be a lot worse.
