01 f350 7.3 shaking

I have noticed my truck shaking more then normal when it is stopped like at a red light or just idling in the drive. When I rev it up to about 1500-2000 rpm it seems to get worse. Don't notice it at all when I am driving down the road just when it sits. can feel it shaking inside the truck and the motor seems to be shaking some too. Any ideas where to start or what it might be..thanks

start by scanning for codes and testing cylinder balance with an ae or better scanner.

I guess I'll just post on this thread since the issue that I am having seems to be similar. Here are the specs:

01' 7.3, 205xxx miles, TS 6 pos chip, edge insight, turbo back exhaust, afe intake. Like the OP said, my truck seems a bit shaky at idle, SOMETIMES. Also don't notice any issues when truck is under power, just shaky at idle. Seems more noticeable when the truck is warm.

According to the Edge, the ICP psi (idle 460-490psi, WOT 2500-3k), IPR duty cycle (10-12% idle, around 50% WOT), EBP and EGT's are all normal. On cold start, the truck will let out a SMALL puff of white smoke, which I have read on many occasions is normal for it's age/mileage.

I have gotten P1211, but only on HEAVY acceleration and only on occasion. I have read that this can be caused by the chip. I also got a DTC (no SES light) the other day for EBPV fault, but I believe this is unrelated.

I do not have much history on the truck unfortunately, bought it in September 2012. I know that it has a nice transmission in it from Twisted Diesel, but that's about it.

Not sure whether I should bother looking further in to the occasional slightly shaky idle??
