no throttle response and runnibg rough

Hey guys, need some help

Today i was on a 700km roadtrip, i filled up at the beginning and about 100km into the trip the truck started running rough and surging and pouring out black smoke, i turned it off, waited a few mins, restarted but it kept running as described, then soon after it would stall. Would crank and fire up as normal and id have normal drive abilty for 5mins then it would stall again, soon after the engine light came on, checked codes, it was showing ICP failure, id clear the code, restart and engine light would immediatly come back on and.id have normal drive for roughly 5mins,i checked over everything on the engine, this repeated for.a hour or so as i was no where near a town, after about a hour of limping it to a town, the engine light went off by itself and everything was normal for half hour the engine light issue happened again, when.i got to town everything was shut so tried to keep going, now this is the weird part, for the next 3hrs.the engine light was off but if i went more then 1/4 throttle, the engine would cut out, i then started to get ICP and CMP codes, but in the last 1/2 hour of the trip i had full power and throttle back, everything was normal

So basically, what the hell is goin on, some one help me so.i trust my truck again haha,
Think ICP as that was the main code, CMP was replaced 4months ago, but ive also go a feeling about the TPS, i dont know much about these.motors,.so.any help greatly appreciated

Thanks
