02 start problems

I jsut bought a 02 f250. Has a magna exhaust, k&n filter and diablo predator. When I picked it up I was told since the predator was put in in August it was hard starting when cold. I programmed back to stock yesterday and temp got to 30 this morning and truck still wouldnt start til I plugged in for an hour or so.Any input would be appreciated.
