Ford factory alarm issues.

Hopefully someone knows how to fix this issue... so here it is. My 2000 F 250 factory alarm loses its programming about once a month. I have done the obvious in replacing the battery in the remote but not sure were to go from here.. it takes all of 2 seconds to reprogram but its getting anoying. Also the chirp and light blink function seems to be super quick and dim. Could this be a bad relay or is it time for a real alarm? Thanks for the help not sure what other information to add.
