02 7.3 Fuel Line Retainer Clips (top of sending unit)

(hope this isnt a double post...tried to post and I dont see it now)

Anyways....I dropped my tank today to fix a pick up tube problem but in the process I broke the darn fuel line retainer clips that go into the top fo the fuel sending unit.

Went to Ford and they tried to sell me the lines from the pump back to the tune of $362 (part #9S278)

After I told him I just needed the clips (#9J278), he told me they only had steel ones and I must not know what I need cause they dont make plastic.

So my question are:
- Are the steel ones replacements??

- Where can I get the plastic ones?
