Service Engine Soon Light

I need help guys!! My truck has been acting up for the past couple of days. When I am accelerating the truck will surge and the SES light comes on but will go off if I cruise. I have carried it to all the parts stores trying to scan it but it shows no codes when the light is on or off. Im lost please help!!....HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Not all scanners will read the codes on the Power Strokes. I'd start by checking fuel pressure. After that, you're gonna have to have a way to monitor ICP and IPR.

Get it to someone with a real scanner and knows diesels. Dont worry about paying the fee to scan. It will likely save you money from replacing wrong parts in "the guessing game".
