ITP OVERBOOST NO BOOST

today i put in my dp tuner and the overboost kit i ordered along with it. The truck obviously makes boost but the boost gauge doesnt move at all. i took out one of the hex key plugs and put in the boost line. not sure maybe i pinched the line or something. Any help would be appreciated.

Never installed one of these. Somebody should be along to help you out though. Bound to be something simple though like a pinched boost line or poor connection somewhere. Good luck

sounds like your boost guage connection/fitting is downstream of the MAP fooler -- ??? Thats all I can think of unless your boost guage is broke...

are you talking stock or AM boost guage? are they digital guages?

might also PM ITP about it to see if their product is hooked up right

Did you turn the ITP fooler's knob any??? If so, you could have goofed it up. StrayCat has the how-to to reset it.

Sounds like you just installed the boost gauge AFTER the fooler. That could cause some issues. Make sure your gauge is plumbed BEFORE the fooler.

If the gauge is reading NO boost at all...there has to be a disconnect/pinch/kink/leak somewhere. Even in the port on the regulator, it would read the "regulated" pressure (not what you want for the gauge). Ideally, you want the gauge in a "T" fitting between the manifold and the regulator, or in the manifold itself.
