fuse 19 / electrical problem
I'm blowing fuse #19, and it runs all kinds of things, so to pinpoint it by replacing parts would be cost prohibitive. One thing I have noticed as of late, is that since last night, I've blown it while shifting between gears 3 times. This morning I did it twice within about 30 seconds of each other. I put it in drive, moved a little bit and switched it back to neutral for a snow covered hill. When it went back to neutral, I heard a snap, and the fuse went (knew it because all gauges went to flat) shut off truck, replaced fuse, and immediately did it again with the same steps.
My question is, could there be wiring chaffed in the steering column someplace? My wheel does have a little emovement |

More than likely your overdrive button wiring is chafed and grounding out on the steering column. pull the covers off the column and inspect the wiring coming out of shifter handle and going down column.
