Bad Hub causing ABS light?

2001 Excursion PSD. Can a bad front hub cause my ABS light to stay on? Already replaced the rear sensor and checked both front connections. Bad grinding sound now coming from front left. Pretty sure the hub/bearing is shot. Could this produce a ABS light?

Thanks

Yea. I had a bearing seize up and spin in the race in the hub. Mine would tick while spinning. Anyway, it allows play on the spindle and will damage the ABS sensor in the process.
