Would you buy this?

I found this on craigslist. Ive heard alot of storys about how they can last 300k miles easy but damn this ones already got 285k. Pretty much I'm asking if you would buy this for a daily driver..

I would definitely check it out. I kept my limit at 200K when I was searching, but $7K for under 300K miles, new tranny, straight body? I'd definitely give it enough thought to go check it out.

Well its in the same town as me so I most likely will. The reason I put it in the problems part of the forum is to ask what things should I look for when looking at it? Thanks

make sure its cold when you go to look at it. check blowby, how easily it starts, turbo wear, if it smokes at all on startup. look up powerstrokehelp on youtube and look at the buying a truck video. make sure to ask about maintenance, intervals, etc

Thanks for all the replys guys. Well long story short he ended up selling it the day I called him.. but I found this one.. And I always wanted a 6 speed.. Any opinions?

I think its a good deal personally? I mean it has less miles and its a long box so I can put a Dew-Eze on it some day. Idk. If I buy this I can get a Edge tunner, Straight pipe and leveling kit with the left over money from buying my truck. Only concern is why is it so cheap and it looks like it was used as a work truck..
