Clicking noise from under dash

So a month or so back my truck started making this 'clicking' noise from under my dash. After a day it went away. Now its back and is worse then ever. It happens whether my truck is running or not. Upon further inspection, it sounds like the thing clicking is attached to where the trailer wiring plug is. (its something that is black and has what looks to be several plugs going into it ) Will post some pics of what I'm talking about soon

Any Idea what it could be?

Travis

See if that noise goes away when you use the Turn Signal....

I don't think it is the signal relay. I haven't heard it in a few days so I haven't been able to track it down.

To eliminate if it's associated with the signals, just hit the Emg Flasher On and see what happens. Usually, it's not the relay itself but poor contacts in that button (at the top of the column).

Most buzzing is either low voltage in the system or at a particular relay because of a bad connection...

I had this problem not too long ago... Its some relay under the dash associated with fuel iirc... just search "clicking noise under dash" and a slew of info comes up. I solved mine with new batts

Just FYI I never figured out the exact cause, but I did find that one battery was weak so I replaced them both. Have not heard the noise since.
