02 f-250 and it has an oil leak

I just bought my first 7.3 2002 F-250 and it has an oil leak it looks like its coming out from my hpop and not my turbo. I havent worked on an hpop but other parts of diesels befor is it hard to fix my self.

I had a blown o ring on the HPOP oil line. You can pick up a new o ring kit on eBay for about $15 shipped. It comes with directions and some green Loctite. They're fairly easy to fix, just a pain to get to the lines.

1. Get a fuel bowl 0-ring rebuild kit and get the simple HPOP rebuild kit.

2. Remove the fuel bowl.
- Clean it up real good.
- Replace all the O-rings from the kit.

3. Since the fuel bowl is removed you can now replace most of the 0-rings in the HPOP.
- Remove all the oil from the HPOP reservoir with a hand pump.
- clean up the oil from the valley and around the HPOP
- replace all the o-rings from the kit.

4. Reinstall the fuel bowl.
5. Add oil to the HPOP reservoir till about 3/4 of an inch full to the top.

6. turn the key a few times but don't turn over the engine to get the fuel bowl filled and some air out of the lines.

7. start it up.

Fuel bowl rebuild.

Just finished this up this week and I also added the clip for the UVCH on mine which was loose and causing issues.
