Automatic Stalling?

i just got my tranny done and in reverse it wants to stall. i dont know whats going on. any suggestions?

Is this only in reverse, there is a cant think of the name, but its electronic and in side the pan that controls it and sometimes they go bad, maybe someone can help me out here with what it is called.

cchase are you thinking of the tr sensor. This is also known as the Transmission Range Sensor.

Did you rebuild the trans yourself, or did a shop do it.

Yeah that sounds right. I am going threw something simaliar myself right now, I will ask the trans guy tomarrow, I gotta take my truck back there for the same things problems with the new tranny....whatanightmare this has turned into..

Its a Jasper Monster box. It Should Be all new stuff inside.
