weird noise when starting
i have an early 99 f-350 with 200,000 miles on it. whenever i get into it to start it whether its cold or hot i turn the key and it sounds like a buzzing from behind the dashboard comes on for about a second then goes away. Sometimes there will be no buzzing and when i go to crank it there is a clicking sound that comes from the under the dash and it wont start. I have to crank it for a little then turn it of and repeat about 3 times untilo itll fire up. What is going on i have owned this truck for 3/4 a year and i havent had this problem until recently.
