Location of GPR?

Howdy folks, new to the board here after parking the 12v Cummins SCp/u and picking a 7.3 Excursion for the growing family. Kinda embarrassed on this one. In using NChornet's GPR and GP troubleshoot sticky I've not been able to find the GPR. It doesn't appear to be behind the fuel filter. The relay that is there Iooks like its feeding the induction heater (note heavy red line coming off copper post and then connected to the plug on side of induction). There is no additional relay as best I can see just the sliver box with 2 large cannon plugs going into it aft of fuel filter, passenger side of the valley. On having key cycled with cold engine I'm not getting the typical relay "clicking" from the valley area. There seems to be a light click from the fuse box/relay area but no large 200amp relay to be found? Is this silver box behind the induction heater relay some kind of aftermarket relay? I'm obviously trying to trouble shoot a hard start issue and am almost positive it's a starter not the preheat system but have to do due diligence just the same. Thanks

I can't see that pic any larger than a postage stamp but I think that might be a relay for a California truck. Does your truck have a cat on it?

Here is one from RiffRaff for an Excursion: Riffraff Diesel: OEM GPCM/ Glow Plug Control Module

I agree. I'm in CA, with a CA truck and that's what I have.
You might wanna check @ RockAuto Auto Parts also - That's where I got mine.

Interesting. The truck is in Canada now. I could of swore on the Carfax it was a Texas rig? It has the GPCM as per the link on the RiffRaff Diesel site.

Next question. Anyone know how one would check the GPCM?

And too bad on the Autoguide iPhone app doesn't allow photos larger than what I posted. You would think they would on something like that?

I think most Excursions had the silver box so you might try this question on the Excursion foprum. I found this by searching for "How to test the glow plugs on an 7.3 excursion" on google : Glow plug relay - Diesel Forum - TheDieselStop.com
