I have had a hard time with a dealer on a CPS failure. When I call the help line at Ford, the dealer had allready marked my trucks permanet record as being tampered with. I had a suprise oil leak on the tubo pedestal last week and called another dealer for a covered warranty service. They called me 2hrs after I dropped it off to tell me the truck had been tampered with and the warranty was void. Folks, this is illegal. I am still in my first warranty battle but what I think is important here is to hide or remove mods before going into the dealship. If they feel you did something to cause the problem, Ask them to prove it by a second opinion. And show them a copy of the Magnuson-Moss act. This is the Federal law that protects us. Be strong and know your rights!!
