ELECTRICAL PROBLEM
i am a 99 7.3l f 350. the overhead console that shows miles per gallon and such was broken when i got it. so i took it down and when i did there was a little 680 chip that had fallen off. so i soldered it back into place and pluged it in and it worked. i thought everything was all good untill i crunk it up and started riding first i noticed that the over drive off light kept flashing on and off. and the speed odometer doesnt work. i unplugged the console and everything went back to normal. whats wrong. please help i dont know anything about the fuses cause it doesnt have a owners manuel.
