Question Error Code???

I previously posted a question about my reverse having no power, it's like the engine is bogged down and won't build up any power, all forward gears work fine. I ran for error codes and it showed one....P0603-PCM Processor Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

that's normal for a programer or tuner and is nothing to worry about. if you clear it, it will come right back. if you don't have a tuner you'll have to wait for marc to tell you what to do.

I have the edge evolution programmer and you are right, I clear it and it just comes right back. Do you think this has anything to do with my reverse problem?

To be honest, I really wouldn't know what it was if it slapped me in the face. Wouldn't it show a code if the map sensor was bad though?

Question

Does anyone know how to clear the Keep Alive Memory (KAM) error code and keep it off. I cleared it twice with my programmer, but it keeps showing back up.

sorry...I did see that. If I put my truck back to the stock setting shouldn't that error code stay off of there?

Smile

I'll tell you what....if it wasn't for this site, I would have to go back to a gas engine. I definitely have a lot to learn. I appreciate everybody's help.
