Question reverse has no power

Can someone diagnose this problem? I have a 2001 7.3 PSD with the Edge Evolution programmer. I recently had it set to extreme and everything ran fine then I switched it back to the stock setting and now my reverse acts like it has no power. I tried changing the settings because I thought maybe it lost something when it re-programmed, but that didn't help. Is it the programmer or is it just the transmission? I didn't get any check engine lights and everything runs as it should in all the forward gears. It is an automatic tranny. I appreciate any help.

Doesn't sound like trans related, check vacum lines of map sensor .if you have a bad map or leak there, reverse will not properly. You could also check with Edge technical @1888-360-3343 regarding the box.

there's a rubber hose on the intake spider, follow it. it goes over to the passenger side and is connected to the map sensor. it bolts to the heater box assembly with three stud's and nut's. thats it.

ok, stand on the passenger side of the truck. to your left is a bracket that has three nut's on it kinda close to the engine, has two or three wire's and has a rubber hose covered in plastic loom. thats the map sensor.

Thank you. Now I am to make sure all hoses/wires are on there or is there another way to check it? If the map sensor was bad shouldn't it throw a check engine light?

you can take that plastic cover off the hose. it's split down the middle. check the hose for crack's and make sure the clamp's are tight. i dont know how to diag a bad map sensor so you would have to wait for marc or pm him. also that connector has some kind of crazy lock deal on it and unless it's broke the connector shouldnt come off. you could check for chaffed wires or broke wires. i'm honestly at a lose here. have you talked to edge about it?
