broke truck how hard is it to fix T-case

well i was in 4 wheel drive then i hear a loud snap. how hard is it to fix this. any input would be great.

Wow! I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to be able to see that with the t-case bolts still in... JB weld works wonders!!! What about your donor truck???

Wow man - I don't think there is any fixing that besides replacing it... or getting a new case and swapping all the gears, ect.... but usually ends up being cheaper to just bolt up a new/used one...

Not hard at all to replace, just going to be a little pricey. Of course it depends if you are buying one from the junkyard, or from a company that rebuilds them. I think the shops that rebuilds trannies do the transfer cases. Either way, good luck. I truly feel for you.

thats off the donor truck lol. nate at strictly diesel is going to rebuild it i already have it out. i just need to get it re built then put into the stronco.
