Hi, my 2000 f450 has the 40 gal aft axel tank, all of a sudden the only thing that comes out is air and foam. I have disconnected the line just after the frame rail mounted pump and it is the same as it is at the fuel filter, all I get are bubbles and green foam, needless to say the truck will not start. I know that it has at least 8 gallons of fuel and I have driven with this amount of fuel many times before, If I fill the filter housing with diesel it will start until it runs dry and then nothing. My question is what kind of pickup is in the tank? is it a stock one with the plastic round foot on it?. I am going to drop the tank this weekend but I would like to know what to expect so I can look for the correct replacement parts.Any diagrams or photos or links would be really appreciated or if anyone has ever had this problem PLEASE let me know. Thanks , Bill
