I don't have cruise so, not sure what would happen with my HIDs. But, my ABS light comes on too (the ABS unit is Very close to the ballast) and I don't worry about it...

There's considerable voltage being delivered to the HID bulb and a lot of accompanying RF (Radio Frequency) that is confusing stuff and shouldn't be of much concern. Yea, kicking-out the cruise would be pain I can see. It might be possible to suppress some of the effects with Ferrite Beads. Others have solved their problems with the DPTuner board (where your truck actually DIES when you turn the headlights on!). Maybe you could either work it out, or learn to live with it

Oh yea, don't let anybody convince you it's the quality of the HIDs that are the problem, they ALL can do it. It has much more to do with the "sensitivity" of our trucks than the source of the RF....

Do you have a low beam only kit? Or is it a hi/low kit? I had this problem with my fog lights only when I DIDN'T run a relay harness to them...now my headlights didnt do it and just the fogs but when I pulled the fog switch the abs light would come on and the speedo would drop. The weird thing is, that every truck won't do it like that we put the same exact kit in my buddies fogs on his f250 and they work fine every time.. Like he stated above it's not the kits fault just some truck are weird.
