a few problems

since i had the truck i have had problems with it starting after sitting for about 10 hrs or more.
here is what its doing with videos





have been told its starter pulling to much amps so its a bad starter. so i have been riding to work and let the truck sit for 3 days come out to drive the truck one day because it was 30 degrees F and raining randomly. So went to start truck saw volt gauge was low tried starting truck and battery's were dead. so i started reading about battery draws. went out to truck i can hear my alternator humming i unplugged the alternator plug and stopped humming. so im guessing this is the battery draw well i hope so just found this out today.

The main reason i was under the hood today was last night on my way home i got a check engine light and a bad misfire. it happened off and one for about 13 miles total then stopped after i got into town and went around a round about. was fine the rest of the way home. This morning i went out to see if it was still doing it and has acted fine so far just drove threw the neighbor hood. pulled codes and the code is 1316 injector wire harness. maybe even IDM but i think if its the IDM it would have just shut down. Not just shut down one bank or a couple cylinders.

anyone got some input on all the problems above. i did post a thread last night about the misfire but i don't see it today so i will just combined all the problems into one thread.

OK, first thing, the P1316 isn't really a diagnostic result. It's kinda like an SES light for the IDM. It's caused by Many different faults and is basically telling you to get the right kind of scanner on it and do a Buzz Test to get further codes for proper diagnosis.

That's where you should start, a buzz test will help you determine if you've got UVCH connector problems (a likely cause of your trouble)

In the video the plug has come off so it's only running on 4cly. You may have failing connectors that are more intermittent, a good scanner will let you know though....
