Jerry

I hope that I'm doing this right. There are no instructions for posting, so here goes. I have a 99 power stroke. This is the second time that I've gotten bad diesel fuel.
Each time this has happened, after 70 miles or so, the truck started running rough. Both times, I pulled the fuel tank and cleaned it thoroughly as well as the fuel filter. The fuel in the tank was a brown muddy consistency on bottom. The first time, I wound up putting it in the shop and the mechanic replaced two glow plugs and two injectors, the injector module, and filter housing at the tune of $4,033. This time I now have cleaned and replaced the fuel tank and filter. It turns over well, but I am not getting any fuel to the filter housing. My oil pressure is very good and I have the correct amount of oil in the engine. I have checked the fuses and they are good. Is there anything that I have not checked that I should? I do not have a scanner.

Welcome to the forum Jerry. Hope you get fixed up quick. Any moderator reading this, could you move it over to the 99-03 problems forum, it might help him get seen a little quicker. Good luck Jerry!
