WHAT IS THIS NOISE?

i have been tryin to figure out this noise my 99 psd has been making and its driving me nuts. you can hear the noise well from the sides of the truck. it sounds kind of like a messed up pulley. It runs fine and everything is fine its just the noise. the noise goes away at high rpms, and it goes away while coasting in overdrive. i thought it may be the idler pulley because that happend in my old truck but i checked it and it wiggles a little bit but i dont think that would make the noise im hearing. Do i have another pulley on a belt tensioner on my motor? maybe the noise is nothing and im just paranoid but im not sure so i figured i could turn to you guys. You guys now your stuff!

Is it a repeated whooshing sound, right after letting off of heavy throttle?

maybe but its not like an "airy" or "wooshing" sound. Ive been listening to some other powerstrokes, some make the same noise, some dont? its weird. im going to try and replace the idler pulley and the tensioner pulley and if thats not it i dont know what ill do.

i had a strange noise like that it was the idler pully that internaly shattered and ripped my belt apart leaving me stranded. the second time i heard that noise i got to a shop and it was a different pully on its way out. for me there was no visual indication ,and a sound that was hard to pin point. good luck
