Chugging

After my ex sitting for a while, I jumped in it yesterday, and could feel it chugging as I was accelerating. I drove for about 2 miles, and turned around. I had hoped it would come out of it. If I stepped on it, it was low on power, but wouldn't chug. Under normal acceleration it would chug.

It may or may not have anything to do with it, but I do have an oil leak coming from somewhere, but not from the pan. It's coming from higher. Maybe my valve cover gaskets?

Any ideas?

One thing of note I just thought of, It had an oil change just before it was parked. I use amsoil synthetics.
