Question problem wall running

I've got a 01 with 200,000. Theres intake exhaust a fully built transmissions andts ts 6 position chip. It struggles to get up to 40 45. Once it gets there it sounds like its missing real bad. all my fluids are still good There is no codes. And its just started today.
If you have any clue on this please let me know.

Fuel Filter?

Pull the chip as a Test maybe?

When you say "there are no codes", what are you reading them with?

How are you checking for codes? Have a scanner? Run contributions on it? What are the results?

Cool, hook it back up to that scanner and run diagnostic tests on it. I'm most curious about the cylinder contribution tests and rotational velocity tests.

Does the coolant smell like diesel? Do you see oil in it?

They hooked the scanner up to it today number 8 cylinder not firing . the injectors have full pressure pressure. I was told that the ECM is the problem and if I replace it it will fix my problems. The second scanner every time they hooked it up it would freeze. Let me know what you think before I buy 1.
