Won't Crank over

I am a new guy who needs some help. 03 7.3L ran fine last night, but nothing this morning. Turn key and gauges jump, glow plug lites flicker on and off, maxi fuses chatter starter does not turn. Batteries are good, fuses good. Any suggestions. Have owned 85, 96,and now 03. Thanks

Low battery or bad connection would be my guess.

or CPS if the Tach doesn't jump... I had a low battery (or two) and it would do all the same things, and make the classic rrrrr, rrrr, rrrrr sound - but never fire...

edit: starter doesn't turn???? or it turns but doesn't fire? either way - a CPS is less than $30 and will take you probably 20 min to change... takes a 10 mm socket btw

check the starter solinoid, or just replace it. It's cheap enough. After that if nothing it's your starter
