Airbag light code 32

airbag light is on... want to fix it i have read a little bit about this through the forum..... mostly talks about the clockspring. and then also about the horn. my horn works fine i do not have cruise control. i called the dealer and asked how much for a new one and was quoted 129 which i feel is high. they asked if i had cruise control etc.... are there different models? or will one online from parts bin for 30 bucks work?

I can't remember if the horn works through the clock spring or not, but if you're getting a 32 code then the clock spring is the issue. You can get them off Ebay. As long as you get one for your make and model, you'll be fine.

I do not have cruise or horn and air bag light is on. i was told by the dealer in 03' that the crash sensor is bad due to a wreck i had earlier that year.

I ended up wiring in a horn switch that you can get from a auto parts store for $3 to pass the safety inspection here in NC this year.
